I appreciate your optimism buy you don’t factor in the context for all economy which is the planet and its ecology: air, water, land, pollinators, etc. The economy you describe depends on ever expanding growth and we are up against limits. While the US economy may be resilient, without a stable climate there is no way to predict a stable future for us or anyone else for that matter.
