Hi Cailian, you just started following me, so I am reading your pieces and I am struck by the range of your interests and research. I love this piece about public toilets . . something I never would have thought about but it says a lot about how much culture is letting go of the idea of the "common good." Re your piece about Ecuador, did you know that they are the first nation in the world to have enshrined "rights for nature" in their constitution. There is a movement for that you might want to investigate. Anyway, thanks for your writing.
